This technique is not standard manipulative
care. I know many people have tried various
forms of therapy. I had tried many techniques
and was disappointed as well. In fact, I
worsened over time. Please call and feel free
to discuss your case. I am happy to answer
your questions and will let you know if I can
or cannot help you.

Well you must realize that your body works as a unit. As such, if the spine becomes twisted or injured,
that “crookedness” will cause another bone to shift, then another. In this office we work under the premise
that the injury occurred when one of the bones of your spine slipped a tiny bit forward and your body
could not pull it back because there are no muscles BEHIND THE SPINE. The muscles are to the side of the
spine. Hence, they TWIST YOUR BONES ONE WAY and then your muscles on the bone above or below will
twist in the opposite direction to balance you. This shifting and twisting can occur over and over again to
compensate for the original injury. In a sense, your whole body gets involved in dispersing the injury.
Eventually you have a crooked and unbalanced structure. The more unbalanced the less effective your
body becomes when it must do work. Not only will your body work harder to lift and perform physical
activities, but it can even effect how your organs are working. Your heart, lungs and other organs work
harder in general if your structure is not sound. Try a simple test. Extend your head forward and push your
chin to your chest. Now take a deep breathe. Compare that to standing straight, pulling your shoulders back
and breathing deeply. Now you have an idea of how the elderly go thru life. Your body can compensate for
injuries for a period of time. However, you will register pain as the condition worsens and can become
chronic. Like a car after an accident if you do not straighten the frame you will continuously wear your
tires out unevenly.
