| You may be looking at these pictures and thinking so what? The patients hunch over and then the doctor asks them to straighten up and then a follow up picture is taken.
Well, that's not what is occurring. We tell our patients to stand straight and then relax their bodies, at that point we take the photo.
After the patient receives a treatment, we again tell the patient to stand straight and then relax, again we then take after photo. The point is that both photos are taken while the patients are relaxed. Following a treatment the patient cannot slouch. They are relaxed in the 'after' photos as well. However we have stacked their bones in a mechanically more sound position hence, without realizing it they can hold themselves up better. Over time you experience improved function, posture and a reduction of pain! |
